I love everything about the holiday season! Family, friends, food, parties, shopping and DECORATING! Maybe not the physical act of pulling boxes out of storage, unpacking, desperately searching for missing items that you know were in that box... but it is the end result that keeps us motivated!
I chose a silver/red theme for the dining table. I used a combination of inexpensive items (thank you 40% off coupon at Michael's) with those that were a bit pricier to create a beautiful tabletop without breaking the budget. A few new items... a few items picked up at last year's after-Christmas sales...
One great thing about using a silver theme is that it can easily be transformed into a New Year's look. Simply replace those red items with the typical 'New Year's Eve' colors - either black or bright colors such as purple, green, etc. you get the idea! Has everyone finished their holiday decorating???
